Wow! It’s been a busy month! I got to see my cousins Lina and Wilma, who came down to Chamonix in late June, just after we got our new house. We haven’t moved yet, ‘cuz we hopped on a plane just after they came and flew to the USA!
Then I fell off the bed in a Denver hotel and knocked myself pretty good, so Mamadawg and Papadawg called the paramedics and I got my first ride in an ambulance! It wasn’t very fun, but before long I was feeling better and we could leave, so the next day we flew down to Arizona to aunt Amy and uncle Gary’s beautiful place in Scottsdale. While Mama and I lounged by the pool, Papa left of Alaska to fish for king salmon with PapaChuck, my uncles and cousin Curtis. They must have had fun, because they brought back loads of coho, king salmon, halibut (yummy) and black bass!
Then I got a visit from Nora and Theo and their parents Pia and Ola from Gothenburg who came to stay with us for a few days in Arizona. I love those guys, and seeing Nora walk got me thinking: I bet I could do that, too! So I did. I started walking at aunt Amy’s house! Wow! I can get around so much better now, and Mama and Papa can hardly keep up! Wooohoo! After the Henfridsons left, aunt Amy came to see me, and that was sooo much fun. She took me into the pool and we played every day. I gave her extra big hugs to pass-on to uncle Gary who is back in Missouri. He’s recovering from a stroke and is getting stronger all the time, thanks to his grandkids and the love he feels from aunt Amy. Great big hugs to you guys both!
Then we left Arizona really early and flew to Montana to see PapaChuck. I can really walk well now and I get to touch the moose hanging on his wall every day! I really like his friend Derry, too, cuz she makes me laugh and cuz I like hanging out with the ladies! So we take walks just outside on the golf course every day by the lake and it feels so good not to be too hot like I sometimes was in Arizona. But I miss Amy.
So my folks tell me we’ll be here for a little longer, then we’re gonna fly to Colorado where I’ll get to see Grammidge and Grandpa Bill! I can’t wait for that either! We’ll stay up in WInter Park for almost a week, going for hikes in the new backpack Mamadawg got that I can ride in. That’s gonna be fun!
So Long! XOXO Babydawg
